Mama Ondo as fondly called at Ogunpa market,
She was the epitome of unconditional love, she showed unconditional love to all that crossed her path. She was very supportive, willing to give a helping hand, wonderful mother. Throughout my stayed with mama and Baba Ondo during my secondary school days. Her song to me was “no room for laziness” especially when I felt reluctantly to followed her to shop at Ogunpa market on every Saturdays. She trained me to be hardworking and focus on my education, which really helped me came out in flying colour at one sitting in my WAEC examination. During my school days, She and Baba Ondo will make sure my breakfast (food) must be packed along with pocket money Baba Ondo will give me to school.
More so, l learnt humbleness, to be respectful in marriage through mama; which showed to Baba Ondo, and really help me in my own marriage up till now. She never joke with mass service on Sundays and no lateness to the church; with her and Baba Ondo every Sunday pounded yam after church service too.
Nevertheless; the words of our Lord Jesus Christ that says in “John 11:25-26”.
Mama, rest perfectly in the blossom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mama, you were more than just my aunty, you were a second mother to me. Growing up, I was always excited to visit your home and follow you around, because being with you meant being in a place filled with warmth, kindness, and love. You welcomed me with open arms every time, and you always called me “Damola, Damola” in that special way only you could.
You had a rare gift for making people feel valued and cared for. Your kindness, patience, and gentle nature touched everyone who knew you. The memories of your smile, your laughter, and your unwavering love will forever remain in my heart.
Though you are no longer here with us physically, your legacy of love and goodness will live on in our hearts and in the lives you touched. Rest peacefully, Mama, in the bosom of the Lord.
Damola loves you and will never forget you.

We will all miss her bcos mama has been a good mother to all of us, not for only her biological children alone but to everyone around her. May her soul rest in peace.
May the soul of mama rest in perfect peace in Jesus name Amen
Mama Ondo was more than just my friend’s mother — she was a mother figure to me as well. Each time I visited their home, she welcomed me with a smile and a simple request that always made me feel part of the family: “Sakiru, fetch me some water from the well.” Even though she always called me “Shakiu” instead of Sakiru, I never corrected her, because there was love and warmth in the way she said it.
Those small moments remain precious memories to me. They remind me of Mama’s gentle spirit, her sense of belonging, and the way she had of making everyone feel at home.
Though Mama Ondo has departed from this world, her kindness, laughter, and motherly presence will forever remain in my heart. I am grateful to have known her, and I pray her soul continues to rest in perfect peace.
